We make confusing things click.
Explainerly is a small studio making animated explainer videos about games, sports, rules and the clever mechanisms around us — each paired with an interactive lesson you can actually play.
Why we exist
Rulebooks are dense, wiki pages assume you already know the lingo, and most videos either ramble or rush. We think anyone can learn cricket, Catan or how a watch ticks in a few minutes — if it's shown clearly.
So every Explainerly video is short, bright and built around pictures, not jargon. It starts with the goal, adds one idea at a time, and stops the moment it all makes sense.
Watch, then play
Each explainer gets a companion interactive lesson on this site. You can step through the scenes at your own pace, poke at the pieces and quiz yourself. Our first one, Football 101, covers American football from kickoff to touchdown.
Who's behind it
Explainerly is made by [Your Name], a designer and animator who got tired of nodding along at game night. Every script, animation and lesson is made in-house with our own Creator Studio tools.
How we keep the lights on
Explainerly is free to watch and play. It's supported by:
- YouTube and on-site ads (kept small and clearly labelled)
- Occasional, clearly-labelled channel sponsorships
- Commissioned explainers for brands, publishers and educators
